A medium to full bodied Pinotage with a dark ruby colour. Bundles of Pinotage fruit on the nose with an intense and lively pallet. Smooth mouth feel that ads to the drinkability of the wine. The wine ends with a soft and sweet finish. A balanced wine that could be enjoyed now or age in the bottle for a few years longer. Will go especially well with any spicy food as well as pizza's and pasta's because of its fruity and easy drinking style.

A well structured and balanced wine with a smooth finish that could be enjoyed now or age in the bottle for a few years. When chilled will go will go with seafood or light meat dishes.

Climate: Good rains and cold weather occurred during the winter with early spring following. Early summer saw some moderate temperatures with periods of light showers. January was hot with some rainfalls whilst February was cooler with moderate rainfalls. March and April hosted very hot conditions with little rain.

Temperatures in February and March were cool to normal with an
above average rainfall. The season can therefore be summarized as cool with average to above average rainfall.

Grape Variety:  100% Pinotage

Climate: Temperatures during the winter were mild. During the early growth season cool temperatures with good rains in October, November and December were experienced. Nearly no rain fell while cool conditions prevailed during the beginning of the month. During the latter stages of the month hot to extremely hot conditions were experienced.

Temperatures in February and March were cool to normal with an above average rainfall. The season can therefore be summarized as cool with average to above average rainfall.

Yield: 8 Tons/ha

Vinification:
Different systems of skin contact. Open fermenter, roto tanks and
fermentomatics. 4,5 days on skins at 25°C. After malolactic fermentation 6-8 months of French oak maturation.
