A word
about a special wine made by
Ron Gault & Charlayne Hunter Gault
...Passages.
"Our passages through life have been often serendipitous, many times sweet, and always soul-satisfying. We have drunk from the waters and the wines of the world, settling in South Africa, where its people have enhanced our taste for all things good. Our wine, Passages, speaks to our embrace of new people, places and things, and our desire to share the joy of our ongoing journey to the horizons".
About The Wine ...
The grapes are sourced from the Stellenbosch region, specifically, from the De Clamputs vineyard. This is an area known for it's fruit and winemaking. This coastal region in the Western Cape is ideal for grape growing and the De Clamputs is singled out perennially for the quality of it's fruit.
Bruwer Raats is the winemaker. He comes from a winemaking tradition and is highly respected for his wine making skills. His red and white wine have won numerous awards, and Bruwer accomplishments with the white grape have been particularly noteworthy, carrying his own name and brand.
About Ron and Charlayne Gault ...
They have lived in South African for more than ten years, arriving as the New South African took it's first steps. They quickly added to the many friends they had before coming to South Africa and began to savor the many wonderful things about the country. Their lifestyle and broad range of friends lead them, without much deviation, to a big embrace of South African wines.
